Op 4 en 5 mei aanstaande vindt voor de tweede keer het European Collodion Weekend plaats.
Circa 40 collodionfotografen uit de gehele wereld tonen tijdens die dagen hun vaardigheden.
Er wordt gefotografeerd geheel volgens de techniek van Fredrick Scott Archer uit 1851 met zowel antieke camera’s, met 150 jaar oude objectieven, als met moderne camera’s vanaf het formaat 35mm tot glasplaten van 50 x 50 cm.
Internationale collodion fotografen geven acte de presence waaronder: Alexey Alexeev (Rusland), Gerald Figal(USA), Fabrice Pejout en Basile Debroeucq ( Frankrijk), Arjan Went en Manon Navarro(Nederland), Borut Peterlin(Slovenië), Alex Timmermans, organisator van dit evenement en nog vele anderen.

On May the 4th and 5th, this year’s European Collodion Weekend takes place.
Over 40 collodion photographers from all over the world are going to show their skills, creativity and passion. This all based on Fredrick Scott Archers technique, from 1851. Antique wooden camera’s and 150 years old lenses as well as modern 35 mm and up to 50×50 cm glass plates are going to be used.
International renowned collodion artist like Alexey Alexeev (Russia), Gerald Figal (USA), Fabrice Pejout and Basile Debroeucq (France), Arjan Went and Manon Navarro (Holland), Borut Peterlin (Slovenia), Alex Timmermans (organizer of this event) and many more will be present.
